as far as pure character-..damn..uhh, well Goku's always my number 1 because his whole character sets the groundwork for everything. By his own presents in the story he's the catalyst to everyone's strength. Hell, he's so powerful he influenced every other shonen manga that came after.

So I'd say Goku for sure, but I also creamed massively for ssj4 Gogeta too (I loved all 4 minutes of him).
